Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. August 2005.

This beautiful flower was one of many that greeted us at the park station at the end of our descent from the summit of Mt.Kilimanjaro.
After several days in the volcanic dust and grit of the alpine desert and glacial plateau climate zones high on the mountain, it was great to get back into thick air and colorful plants.
