Redbud and Dogwood

Redbud and Dogwood

In the spring of 2016, I was fortunate to come upon a section of forest in the Tremont area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where Redbud and Dogwood trees were both blooming at the same time. This is a bit unusual; the Redbuds have usually lost their blooms before the Dogwoods open.
